2. Purpose of the website
This website presents Hotel Asset Advisors' hotel asset advisory services — asset management, operator selection, transactions and repositioning — and publishes market analysis on the hotel sector. It is aimed at hotel owners, investors and industry professionals. No products are sold and no payment details are requested through the site.
3. Intellectual property
The texts, designs, logos, images and other content on this site belong to Hotel Asset Advisors S.L. or their rightful owners. Reproduction, distribution or modification without prior written consent is prohibited, except for personal, non-commercial use. Hotel and operator brands and logos shown belong to their respective owners.
4. Liability and links
The content is for information only and does not constitute investment, legal or tax advice. Hotel Asset Advisors takes care to keep the information accurate and current but does not guarantee its completeness and accepts no liability for decisions taken on the basis of it. Links to third-party websites are provided for information; we do not control and are not responsible for their content.

Contact form and email
Data processed: first and last name, company, email address and message content.
Purpose: responding to your enquiry and, where relevant, preparing a proposal.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: for as long as the enquiry or relationship lasts; thereafter blocked for the statutory limitation periods.
Newsletter (only if you tick the box)
Data processed: name and email address.
Purpose: sending market analysis and firm news.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Retention: until you withdraw consent, via the unsubscribe link in every mailing or by writing to legal@hotelassetadvisors.com.
Browsing the site
Data processed: IP address, browser, device and pages visited.
Purpose: technical operation and security of the site.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: the platform's technical retention periods.
Recipients: we do not disclose data to third parties unless required by law. The following process data on our behalf as processors: Wix.com Ltd. (Israel), provider of hosting and of the web platform, forms and newsletter, and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., email provider. Israel benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision; transfers to sub-processors outside the European Economic Area (for example the United States) rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, standard contractual clauses.
Automated decisions: no automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
Your rights: you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw any consent at any time, by writing to legal@hotelassetadvisors.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or the supervisory authority where you live.
6. Cookies
The site uses technical cookies set by the Wix platform that are strictly necessary to display pages, keep the site secure and remember your preferences; these are exempt from consent under Art. 22(2) of Spain's LSSI-CE. Analytics or advertising cookies, if used, are only set after you consent, and you can give, refuse or change your consent at any time via the site's cookie notice. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
7. Security and data rooms
Hotel Asset Advisors will never ask for your username, password or bank details by email or phone. The private data rooms we set up for specific processes are hosted exclusively on subdomains of hotelassetadvisors.com and are accessible only to invited parties with individual credentials. If you receive a suspicious request in the firm's name, please report it to legal@hotelassetadvisors.com.
8. Governing law
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. The courts of Barcelona have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
